In my time on MyFitnessPal I’ve seen a lot of people who
turn to drastic diets in attempts to slim their waistlines. What I want to ask
these people is, “what do you plan to do when you reach your goal? Will you eat
cabbage soup forever?” I have no intention of eating cabbage soup, unless it
has some other delicious ingredients in it. In my lifestyle revamp I am
continuing to eat most of my favorite foods, just relearning correct portion
sizes. I’ve heard too many horror stories of people who diet for years only to
regain all of the weight (or more!) as soon as they start eating people food
again. So, instead I will keep eating French fries and cheese and other things
that I like, as long as I do it in moderation.
